TO BE ANNOUNCED!

(This could be YOU!)

We pride ourselves on being the longest, consecutive-running local competition in the Miss California Org!

We provide young women in the greater North Bay Area with academic scholarships, and the opportunity to learn leadership skills and serve their communities.

More than a Competition

Authenticity

Being a Miss and Teen means you show up as your most authentic self. We want our titleholders and candidates to learn everyone offers something unique and important to the greater community.

Community

Community is at the heart of the Miss America organization; its essence lies in connection, service, and unity. We strive to support each titleholder's work by connecting them to the public and its local constituents, encouraging them to address challenges facing their community and leave a legacy by pushing for positive change during their year of service.

Empowerment

She is empowered through scholarship to pursue her academic goals, strive for success, show off her unique style, and serve her community. We encourage every titleholder and contestant to speak up, show up, and be a role model so that others may be inspired by her brand and work.

Leadership

She embraces being a leader within the Miss America Opportunity. She leads with an open heart, advocating for young women, like herself, and inspires others to serve her community.

  • I never considered myself a pageant girl, yet going through the Miss Sonoma County training and learning that the Miss America Organization empowers so many young women changed my whole outlook on the title. I learned to be a leader, become involved in my community, and further my education. Even the training process before the actual competition helps you become your best self, and each contestant walks away with invaluable skills and lifelong friendships no matter the outcome. I would highly recommend any teen or college student give this program a try!

  • I am a champion of courage now because of this experience. I can't wait to tell my kids someday that I was a princess.

    Miss Sonoma County Contestant 2022

  • Being Miss Sonoma County 2022 was a life changing experience for me. I never saw myself as a “beauty queen”, but that’s not at all what the Miss America Organization values. In my time as Miss Sonoma County, I got to volunteer at multiple different events. Not only did this get me more involved in the community that I love so dearly, but it opened up a lot of doors for me that I never knew were in the room to begin with. It’s not just a crown and sash, it’s a platform for women who are passionate about their community to speak on issues they are passionate about, while also making lifelong friends along the way.

  • The Miss Sonoma County Org is an experience I hope every women gets to share in her lifetime. It gave me space to overcome my fears of public speaking, meet so many inspiring and successful women through the sisterhood, and really come out of my own shell. I’m grateful for this amazing committee and their support making my year special and one for the book!
